Santa and a gold reverse manicure

I like this cute and classy design. A red and gold reverse manicure is adorable. The best way to do this is to paint the gold and once it's dry put one of those hole punch protector stickers over the gold you want to keep. (I'm not sure what the official name is but you can find them at any office supply store) Then paint the red over them. For the gold I used L'oreal because you're worth it 580 and for the red I used wet 'n wile red red 414A.

Snowflakes and a snowman

We got snow today!! So I was inspired by the snow and did a few snowflakes and a snowman! For the blue I used Revlon 092 Blue Lagoon. I like that it's a light blue with a bit of sparkles. The white is China Glaze White Out and a little black and orange for the snowman. I used my dotting tool to create the sort of blizzard look. Such a cute winter look!!

Purple and Black

I love purple during the winter!! So I decided to paint my nails purple but of course it was too plain for me. I threw on a matte coat of black on my ring finger and some rhinestones. I think that the matte coat really makes the rhinestones pop. Then I just had an urge to do a little zebra print on my thumb. It came out really cute and I love it. Next I will do some Christmas nails!
Purple:  Sally Hansen Insta-dri #365 Vigorous Violet
Black: Wet 'n Wild Wild Shine #424 A
Matte: Essie Matte About You

White tips with Louboutin inspired red

I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving!! I have been swamped with school work and haven't had a chance to get much done, but I promise I will have a couple of new designs for you. For Thanksgiving I decided to put on some acrylics, which meant I had to cut my nails really short so I want to do some short nail designs. So here are my Thanksgiving nails!! White acrylic tips with white glitter and a Louboutin inspired red underneath. I loved it so much!! Very classy and sophisticated!

Breast Cancer

It's almost the end of October so I had to do a breast cancer design. I love all the different designs on each finger and of course had to incorporate some glitter and rhinestones. My mother passed away from breast cancer so showing my support is very important to me. I hope we will be able to find a cure one day.

Neon zebra gone matte!

I'm a very season oriented person so I tend to do bright colors during the summer and use darker colors during the fall and winter. With the summer coming to a close I wanted to do a last fun neon hoorah. So I used sinful colors in pink and kiss nail art in lime green. The pink was matte so I used my essie matte over the green. Then I used my kiss nail art in black for the stripes. With matte you don't want to use any top coat so I left it as is! Enjoy!

Pink and Gray

It has been a while since my last post but I have been so busy!! I attend school online and the classes are 5 weeks long but this class was extra tough. Between the gym and school I didn't have time to do a lot. I love the color combo of pink and gray! This is just a simple design and I didn't think I would like it as much as I did. Enjoy!

Colorful zebra!

So I did this very cute design onto a sample nail and I loved it so much I decided to do all of my nails. I love these Kiss nail art polishes. They have a slender brush that are amazing for designs. This is probably one of my favorite fun nail designs. It also looks good on short and long nails. I have been trying to let my nails grow out and I'm tired of acrylics so I wanted something fun on my short nails.

Fireworks

It has been a bit of a crazy few weeks! I have been doing a major clean up on my apartment getting rid of all the clutter! So here is the latest creation! Simple white base coat then I used a blue, pink and purple to create the "firework." I did it just using a toothpick! Very easy and not too crazy.

Tiffany Blue

This is a simple look that I just love. I used China Glaze For Audrey and then put some glitter on my ring finger. Very easy but cute!

Liquorice and mint

So I finally found a mint nail polish! I have been trying to get my hands on Essie's mint candy apple but I couldn't find it anywhere! So I found Sally Hansen's Mint Sorbet and it was the last bottle! I just cut my nails and I feel like this is a great look for shorter nails. Enjoy!!

Lips, hearts, dots and glitter!

I really love doing each nail with a different design as you can see. So I wanted to do a fun pink and purple look and I couldn't decide which purple and pink I wanted so I just decided to use them all. After I posted this on facebook my neighbor asked me to do hers as well because she loved this look so much!

Drip, drip

I have seen this look everywhere and it took me a little practice to perfect it. My dotting tool didn't make a large enough dot so my husband suggested I use a nail from his toolbox and it worked very well! I made sure to drench the end of the nail in polish, made a dot and then dragged it down. It is a really fun look and I really enjoyed it!

Feel my heart beat

This is such a fun idea and great for heart disease prevention month in February! Very simple! Please excuse the mess on my cuticles. I normally just wait till I wash my hands and it fixes itself.

Nautical Nails!

Here are my nautical nails! I did some navy blue and white stripes and then added an anchor and a lifesaver. Super cute and fun for those summer days when you are laying out on the deck!

Love in the wild!

So I did a classic white tip and mixed it up with some pink and black zebra and cheetah print! I have to admit this was one of my favorite designs!! (But then again, they all are)

Wild Lime Green

So green happens to be my favorite color. Now I'm not talking about any green, I am talking about lime green!! It is a color I don't really wear on my nails, so I decided I had to do a lime green design. I did a few different designs and I really liked it!

The first post!

Finally I have had the opportunity to start a blog! I love nail designs and I hope this blog will give others some fun ideas. So I hope you enjoy it!

My first design is a fairly simple one. I love the pink and grey combination. I just got some rhinestones so I wanted to do something simple and cute so the bow-tie worked!

For the pink I used China Glaze pink voltage (neon), the grey is Rimmel 60 Seconds in 805 grey matter.
